An Excellent Adventure

It was an incredibly fun trip to the AKC Eukanuba National Dog Show. Tigger, Bolt, Dory and I stopped at Rita's new farm in Alabama on the way there (and back). It was so good to see her and the dogs. I was quite excited to meet Fig (Galena Cornerstone Imagine) and Baby Twizzler, who is Tigger's nephew. In Florida, we stayed with Amy in Eustis. Tigger got reaquainted with his mom, Bubbles, and the Raglan Crew. Little Dory stayed to learn to sheep, and Tigger's Aunt Rosy came home with us to play Puffy Dog. Although Tigger didn't get any ribbons, I hope to do it again. So many beautiful dogs all in one place!

Fig tells Twizzler, "I am NOT your mom!"

It's hard to capture a moving Fig, so I waited until he was asleep. Handsome boy!

Twizzler gets an earful from his mom.

One of the lovely garden areas designed by Amy's mom.

Amy, Carol and Dory chillaxin' at the dog show.

The guest shed at Amy's. My bedroom should be so nice!

Sweet Christmas puppy!

Fig and Twizzler have a bonding moment.

  1. Thanks for posting the pictures of Fig!! I love the constant tails wagging going on between the two pups as they meet. I can't say enough how I wish this country was a bit smaller so i could vbisit all those I want to truly meet.

  2. And thanks for posting the pictures of Twizzler, now known as Wystan (after our favorite poet - W.H. Auden!). These are wonderful pictures! We met Wystan/Twizzler and Fig for the first time on Dec 26th and tried to get some pictures, but they were moving so fast! Lovely to see some more photos! We are looking forward to becoming a Cardigan family again when we bring Wystan to his forever home week after next! Yippee!

  4. Fig and Wystan are truly awesome boys! It was very hard getting photos of them until they crashed. Tigger says good luck to his nephew in his new home with Betsy, and I can't wait to see Fig following in his dad's pawprints!
