Coming & Going

Frost the new enforcer has arrived in town, and is making herself right at home. Rosy and the boys are playing so nicely with her, she has no fear even though they outweigh her by 20-30 pounds. I'm still thinking on her registered name (it will begin with C-Myste Baledwr SN), but she will stay Frost. And Frostie. And Frostie Paws. And Frostiepants. And, of course, Little Missy. And maybe Little Miss Frostiepants. She is a sweet, active, funny little girl. Thanks to Megan and Carolyn and Mandy and Jeri and Trent for creating such a wonderful little girl. And to Anne, for getting her here.

Frost chilling at Margaret's house, little suspecting what awaits her.

Ermahgerd! Ah herv errs!

She was actually very good about getting her ears taped. Margaret trimmed her nails while I held, then I taped ears while Margaret held. Collar. Ears. What other indignities await?

But I am also sad, for it is time for Rosy to go back home to her mom Amy in Florida. I am so grateful to Amy for letting me have her this past year, to show and love. I know Amy misses her, and I know Rosy misses HER, and also misses her beloved sheep. I've learned a lot from Rosy, how to connect, train, groom, and foster that sparkle in her. Her last four shows she looked and showed tremendously. She's still one major shy of her CH, but I know more herding titles await her. I love you, Rody-O, and you be good for your Mom Amy.

Dead perfect stack at Kalamazoo

JMHO, but I think she's the most correct and lovely dog in the WB lineup
