Baby's first points

Here is Bolt's WD photo from the Auburn show. He was entertaining some children by rolling on the floor right before class, so he has uber wavy topline. And he's posting forward. Oh let's face it, we were both a mess by Sunday afternoon. But happy!

All hail!

The Crown Prince Henley!

Cat-time

I have three foster kitties living with me at the moment ... Pepper Brunswick (shaped like a bowling ball), Blinken the Elder, and Rosy Foster. Although, Rosy recently had six kittens, but I'm told kittens don't count toward the total! This is in addition to the regular herd of five indoor cats and one outdoor kitty.

The Bed

Well, the boys decided that Henley's new bed not only was a great place to curl up, but also makes a great toy.

Upward Facing Dog ...

A new yoga position, perhaps? Oh to be  young, and flexible like Baby Henley.

Settling back in

Reggie and Henley had a great time staying with their Aunt Margaret and Uncle Marv while we were at the show.  Everyone got reintroduced and it was soon business as usual.

And little Henley, surveying his kingdom and looking cute:

An excellent weekend!

Sunday was a good day at the dog show ... Baby Bolt was Winner's Dog, for two points, and Tigger was Select Dog, for two points, under Judge Robert Frost. When we got home, Tigger celebrated by hunting crawdads and chewing a stick:

Bolt celebrated by eating a paper cup:

Of course, the only reason I get Starbucks coffee is so the boys have paper cups to chew!

Bolting from the starting gate!

Baby Bolt's debut was a smash hit! He went Winner's Dog, Best of Winners under Judge Victoria Jordan. If I'm counting correctly, it's his first two points. He posed like a champ, and charmed the socks off the judge. A big thanks to Cindy Pickett of Storyville Kennels for taking him in Breed, as I was busy with Dad Tigger ... who was Select Dog! Two more points toward his GCH. It was great seeing our Cardi friends from Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio and their lovely dogs. We'll be celebrating with cable TV and Arby's ... I love motels!

Baby Bolt's first show

Tonight we're heading to Auburn, Indiana, for the Logansport Kennel Club show. Dad Tigger and Baby Bolt will be showing, and it is Baby Bolt's debut! Let's hope Bolt doesn't have to poop in the ring like he did at the B-match!

And baby makes four ...

On Saturday Bolt and I drove to Detroit to pick up his baby brother Henley from Kathy Carlson of Wyntr Cardigan Welsh Corgwn. We met up with Kathy at the Detroit Kennel Club dog show at Cobo Hall, and while we were there we watched Nancy Willoughby of Rubad Cardigans and Cammy Bowles of Bel-Rhosyn Cardigans do their thing in the show ring. Afterward we helped Kathy temperament test the TiggerXCeleste babies, and then Bolt, Henley and I hit the road. A great day, except for the dead car battery and the yucky slushy snow that slowed traffic down to 30 mph on I-94. Henley is an awesome baby, and has his dad's pretty head and extremely cute "bubble butt."
